Destination

Just a short 2 hour flight from Los Angeles brings us to the tip of the Baja California Sur peninsula where we’ll visit the dual destination of Los Cabos.
Why is it called a dual destination? Part of the fun of visiting Los Cabos comes with exploring the region’s two dramatically distinct personalities. Tranquil San Jose del Cabo retains the atmosphere of an authentic Mexican town with the many intimate restaurants and boutiques lining its cobblestone streets.  Rambunctious Cabo San Lucas on the other end of the corridor is party central with its many bars centered around the marina. If shopping is on your must-do list, the Luxury Avenue Mall is also located in the same area.
Charming San Jose del Cabo, with its narrow winding streets, is the place to meander among the colorful colonial buildings and browse through the many art galleries and boutiques. Enjoy a refreshing Hibiscus flavored popsicle or sip a frosty margarita at one of the restaurants while delighting in an atmosphere that’s both casual and sophisticated Mexican.
Cabo San Lucas is known for its beaches, water-based activities and nightlife.  This destination offers an ideal combination of perfect weather and magnificent scenery.
The resort of choice is the brand new Chileno Bay Resort, by Auberge Resorts.  Located between San Jose del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, it’s in the perfect spot to explore the area.  The modern and very sleek resort is a luxurious getaway with a serene spa and access to Chileno Bay Club’s 18-hole, par 72 Tom Fazio masterpiece golf course. The spa, inspired by the rich healing traditions of the Baja region, offers a holistic and restorative approach to wellness and relaxation.
